Banana Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
| Shortening | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ripe bananas | 2 , mashed | |
| Salt | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Creamy brown sugar frosting | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Cream the shortening and the brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla and bananas; beat until smooth.
Add a mixture of the salt, baking soda and flour; beat until smooth.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until done to taste.
Remove to a wire rack to cool.
Frost the cooled cookies with Creamy Brown Sugar Frosting.
