Banana Spice Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| Cake flour | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Crisco | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Banana | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), mashed | |
| Molasses - 1/3 cupp | ||
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING STARTED
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
MAKING
2. Take a mixer bowl , blend in sugar, flour, soda, baking powder, salt, Crisco, spices, molasses, banana.
3. Combine the ingredients by stirring it with hands or beat it using electric mixer.
4. Blend in milk and eggs and beat for another 2 minutes.
5. Spread the batter on 2 greased and floured 9x1 1/2-inch round layer pans.
6. Bake for about 35- 40 minutes and cool.
SERVING
7. Serve it after frosting with fluffy frosting as a dessert or as snack.
