Banana Nut Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shortening | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 Ige. eggs | ||
| 3 Ige. bananas, mashed | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 3 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Nuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
Directions
Cream the sugar and shortening in a bowl.
Stir in the eggs and bananas.
Add the salt, soda and baking powder to flour, then stir into the banana mixture.
Fold in the nuts.
Pour into 3 greased coffee cans.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour.
