Banana Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients
2 extra-ripe, large Bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Puree bananas in blender (1 1/4 cups).
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in bananas and eggs.
Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients to banana mixture alternately in thirds with buttermilk, blending well after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350°F oven 50 to 60 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely.
