Banana Jelly Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 packet lemon or orange flavoured jelly | ||
| Ripe bananas | 2 | |
| Lettuce | ||
| Yoghourt or mayonnaise | ||
| Slices banana or other fruit | ||
| Lemon juice | ||
Directions
Mix jelly according to packet instructions.
Chill until slightly set and place half in a 1 pint mould.
Peel bananas, slice and arrange on top of jelly.
Cover with remaining jelly.
Chill until firm.
Unmould on to a lettuce-lined dish; top with yoghourt or mayonnaise and garnish with slices of banana dipped in lemon (or other fruit juice).
