Ingredients

 Ripe banana1 Large
 1 cup / 250 ml / 8 fl oz milk
 Egg1
 1/4 cup / 60 ml / 2 fl oz margarine, melted
 1 1/2 cups / 185 g / 6 oz all purpose flour
 Baking powder1 1/2 Teaspoon
 1/2 cup / 120 g / 4 oz caster sugar
 3/4 cup / 120 g / 4 oz choc bits

Directions

1. ln a mixing bowl, mash the banana, add the milk, egg and melted margarine (a). Mix well.
2. Stir the sifted flour, baking powder, sugar and choc bits (b) into the banana mixture, mix only until the ingredients are combined.
3. Spoon mixture into well-greased muffin tins (c). Bake at 190°C / 370°F / Gas 5 for 20 minutes.
