Banana Choc Chip Muffins Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe banana | 1 Large | |
| 1 cup / 250 ml / 8 fl oz milk | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| 1/4 cup / 60 ml / 2 fl oz margarine, melted | ||
| 1 1/2 cups / 185 g / 6 oz all purpose flour | ||
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup / 120 g / 4 oz caster sugar | ||
| 3/4 cup / 120 g / 4 oz choc bits | ||
Directions
1. ln a mixing bowl, mash the banana, add the milk, egg and melted margarine (a). Mix well.
2. Stir the sifted flour, baking powder, sugar and choc bits (b) into the banana mixture, mix only until the ingredients are combined.
3. Spoon mixture into well-greased muffin tins (c). Bake at 190°C / 370°F / Gas 5 for 20 minutes.
