Banana Caramel Bars Recipe

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup margarine, cut up
1 large egg, beaten
2 extra-ripe, medium Bananas, peeled
1/2 cup caramel topping
Directions
Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl.
Cut in margarine with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Slowly stir in egg, mixing with a fork until crumbly.
Pat half of mixture into 13x9-inch baking pan to form crust.
For filling, mash bananas.
Blend bananas with caramel topping.
Spread evenly over crust.
Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over filling.
Pat gently.
Bake in 375°F oven 35 minutes or until golden brown.
