Banana Cake Recipe
Ingredients
3 cup cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 cup shortening
2 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas
Directions
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Cream shortening.
Add sugar gradually, cream until light and fluffy.
Add 2 tablespoons milk, then slightly beaten eggs.
Blend well.
Add dry ingredients and remaining milk alternately beating thoroughly after each addition.
Fold in mashed bananas.
Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes.
