Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ripe bananas | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), mashed | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla extract | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 Large |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9" by 5" metal loaf pan. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. In small bowl, combine bananas, milk, and vanilla.
2. In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Reduce speed to low; alternately add flour mixture and banana mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Beat just until blended.
3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
