Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and nutmeg on to waxed paper.
Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add egg and beat until fluffy.
Stir in bran flakes, banana, orange rind and water.
