Banana And Cherry Slice Recipe

Ingredients
A.
1 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. butter
3 tbsp. brown sugar
B.
24 marshmallows
15 maraschino cherries, cut fine
1 small coarsely mashed banana
C.
Icing:
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. icing sugar
2 tbsp. cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. boiling water
Directions
1. Cream together A mixture, pat in pan and bake.
2. Melt marshmallows in top of double boiler (B).
3. Stir in cherries and bananas and spread over baked mixture.
4. Beat well in mixmaster the butter, milk and icing sugar (C).
5. Add vanilla, then lastly 2 tbsp. of boiling water and beat till creamy and smooth.
6. Spread over filling and keep in refrigerator.
