Bamboo Shoot Masala Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups peeled, grated and boiled bamboo bark | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Red chillies | 3 (Grind:) | |
| 3/4 tsp. cummin seeds | ||
| Cloves | 5 (Grind:) | |
| Tomatoes | 3 Medium, chopped (Grind:) | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon (Grind:) | |
| Garlic flakes | 6 Small, crushed (Grind:) | |
| 5 pepper corns | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 inch (Grind:) | |
Directions
Heat oil, fry ground masala and crushed garlic till oil surfaces, then add tomato and salt, simmer till tomato is soft.
Stir in the bamboo, add 1/4 cup hot water.
Cover and simmer for 10 mins., till vegetable is dry.
Serve with phulkas.
