Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
2. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
3. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Add milk; mix quickly.
5. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead 6 to 8 strokes to mix thoroughly. Roll 1/2 inch thick cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
6. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
