Baked Stuffed Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 large firm tomatoes | ||
| Fat for frying | ||
| Onion | 2 Teaspoon, minced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1 egg slightly beaten. | ||
| Green pepper | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Celery | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Cabbage | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Wash tomatoes, removetops and scoop out centers.
Saute onions in fat, add tomato pulp and remaining ingredients blend.
Fill tomatoes with mixture, replace tops, and bake in greased casserole in moderate oven (375 F.) about 1/2 hour
