Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 pound minute steaks
 
Butter to grease casserole
 
1/2 cup chopped onion
 
1/2 cup dry white wine
 
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 
1 can (3 1/2 ounces) chopped mushrooms with liquid
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions

Heat butter in skillet; brown meat quickly on both sides.
Transfer to greased casserole.
Add onion to remaining butter in skillet;..
saute until tender, but do not overcook.
Add wine, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
Heat and stir, scraping crust in skillet.
Pour over steak in casserole.
Bake in 375°F toaster oven 30 to 35 minutes or until steaks are tender.
