15 Minutes Baked Scallops Recipe
These baked scallops are flavorful and serves as a beautiful side to any meal. A lovely seafood preparation, the scallops are baked with the flavor of lemon and sauteed shallots to it. herbed with a bit of parsley, these baked scallops are always a hit!
Ingredients
1 pound scallops
2 tablespoons chopped shallots or green onions
6 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3 cup fine bread crumbs
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Directions
Wash scallops to remove sand; dry on paper towels.
Place in 4 buttered shells or buttered casserole.
Saute shallots in 2 tablespoons butter until soft; distribute evenly over scallops.
Melt remaining butter; add lemon juice.
Pour over scallops; sprinkle with crumbs.
Bake in preheated 375 °F oven 12 to 15 minutes, until scallops are tender when pierced with knife.
