 Hot water2/3 Cup (16 tbs)

 1/2 cup currant jelly, broken in pieces with a fork
 Hot water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Ground cinnamon1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground cloves1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Mix flour, salt, and pepper.
Coat pork chops evenly.
Heat fat in a large heavy skillet.
Add chops and brown lightly on both sides.
Place browned chops in a large shallow baking dish.
Add % cup hot water, onion, and parsley.
Cover tightly with baking dish cover or aluminum foil.
Bake at 350°F about 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine jelly, 1/4 cup hot water, cinnamon, and cloves in a heavy saucepan.
Set over low heat, stirring occasionally, until jelly is melted.
Uncover baking dish and pour jelly glaze over the chops.
Continue baking 20 minutes, or until chops are tender.
