1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach
1/4 cup diced celery
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons salad oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Meat
2 fully cooked ham slices, 1/2 inch thick (about 1 1/2 pounds)
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
Directions
Cook spinach as directed on package; drain.
Cook and stir celery, mushroom and onion in oil until celery is tender.
Stir in spinach, salt and pepper.
Place 1 slice meat in ungreased shallow baking dish.
Spread spinach mixture on meat; top with second slice and brush top with butter.
Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate.
65 minutes before serving, have ready: 1 envelope (11/2 ounces) white sauce mix; 1 tablespoon horseradish, well drained; 1 tablespoon prepared mustard; 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg.
Bake ham covered in 325° oven 30 minutes.
To make Horseradish Sauce, prepare white sauce mix as directed on.package.
Stir in horseradish, mustard and nutmeg.
Uncover meat; bake 30 minutes.
