Baked Chicken Ginger Recipe
Simply yummy!!!! These two words come to the mind instantly when you taste this Baked Chicken Ginger. If you have plenty of Chicken on hand then Baked Chicken Ginger is the thing to make. It is an effortless Main Dish. This is an ideal dish to include in today's menu.
Ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 frying chicken (three pounds), cut into serving pieces
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dry sherry
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup finely chopped preserved ginger root
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour and salt in a paper bag.
Add the chicken pieces and shake well to coat each with flour.
Heat one-half cup of the butter and brown the chicken on all sides.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish with cover.
Meanwhile, combine the remaining butter, the sherry, soy sauce, lemon juice and ginger in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stir and pour the mixture over the chicken.
Cover.
Bake the chicken for about one hour, turning the pieces once as they bake.
