Baked Winter Squash Recipe
Ingredients
| Winter squash | 2 Pound | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Powdered cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
1. Start oven, set at 400° F., Hot. Rub a shallow baking pan with butter.
2. Wash the squash, cut in sections, remove seeds and fibers. Place pieces, skin side down in the baking dish.
3. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and salt and sprinkle it over the squash. Dot with butter or margarine. Pour the boiling water around the squash.
4. Bake 40 minutes to 1 hour.
