Baked Vegetables In Thousand Island Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| 100 gms shelled green peas | ||
| 250 gms French beans, trimmed and cut into halves | ||
| Carrots | 200 Gram, diced | |
| 200 gms cauliflower, cut into florets | ||
| 250 gms baby corn, cut into halves on the slant | ||
| Thousand island dressing | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY 1) Preheat the oven. MAKING 2) In a bowl, boil salted water and cook green peas in it till tender and then refresh and drain thoroughly. 3) In separate bowls, boil some more salted water and blanch french beans and carrots separately for 2-3 minutes and cauliflower for 4-5 minutes. 4) Refresh and drain all the vegetables. 5) In a mixing bowl, mix all the vegetables. 6) In an another bowl, mix thousand island dressing with egg yolks. (This helps to prevent the dressing from curdling while baking.) 7) Over the vegetables, spoon the dressing and mix well. 8) Adjust the seasoning after tasting. 9) Transfer it to the ovenproof dish and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes till the top is golden. SERVING 10) Serve hot.
