Baked Stuffed Garlic Clams Recipe
|Fresh garlic||30 Clove (150 gm)|
|Canned clams/Fresh clams||19 1⁄2 Ounce, canned chopped , drained, fresh, steamed and chopped to make about 1 1/2 cups|
|Butter||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), softened|
|Fresh oregano/1 teaspoon, dried||1 Tablespoon|
|Cooked spinach/Frozen spinach||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|French bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), minced|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Pignoli nuts/Walnuts, chopped||2 Teaspoon (Pine Nuts)|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|

1) Mince or press garlic to make 3/4 cup.
2) In large bowl,combine together garlic and other ingredients, except garnishes, and spoon well into clam or scallop shells.
3) Decorate each with a slice of garlic, pignoli and scatter a little cayenne pepper.
4) Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until bread crumbs turn golden brown and centers are just cooked through.
