Baked Stuffed Garlic Clams Recipe
Ingredients
| Fresh garlic - 20 to 30 cloves | ||
| Clams | 3 Can (10oz), steamed | |
| Butter | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oregano | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Spinach | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| French bread crumbs - 1 cup | ||
| Parsley | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pignoli nuts | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg, Black pepper, and Cay-enne Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon each | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Mince or press garlic to make 3/4 cup.
2) In large bowl,combine together garlic and other ingredients, except garnishes, and spoon well into clam or scallop shells.
3) Decorate each with a slice of garlic, pignoli and scatter a little cayenne pepper.
MAKING
4) Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until bread crumbs turn golden brown and centers are just cooked through.
SERVING
5)Serve hot.
