Baked Sauerkraut and Corned Beef Hash Recipe
Ingredients
| Sauerkraut- 2 cups (one 1-pound can), drained | ||
| Cloves- 4 whole | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Water | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chicken Bouillon- 1 cube | ||
| Dried thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Corned beef | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Mushroom sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Prepared horseradish | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Apple- 1no, cored and very thinly sliced | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 450°F.
2) Pierce the cloves into the onion.
3) Drain the sauerkraut and rinse in cold water.
4) Butter a shallow baking dish.
MAKING
5) In a saucepan, place the sauerkraut, add onion, water, bouillon cube, and thyme.
6) Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
7) Remove from the heat and discard onion.
8) Spoon the sauerkraut mixture into baking dish.
FINALISING
9) In a bowl combine beef hash, tomato mushroom sauce and horseradish.
10) Spread beef hash mixture, evenly over sauerkraut.
11) Top with apple slices.
12) Bake in hot oven for 15 minutes.

13) Serve hot on a flat serving dish.
