Baked Saffron Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup regular or parboiled long-grain rice | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 chicken-flavor bouillon cubes or envelopes | ||
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Saffron threads | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole. Into casserole, measure rice and butter or margarine.
2. In 2-quart saucepan over high heat, heat bouillon, water, salt, and saffron to boiling. Pour mixture into casserole; cover and bake 30 minutes.
