Baked Pumpkin With Bacon Apple and Cheese Stuffing Recipe Video

Directions
GETTING READY
1 Deseed and clean a pie pumpkin.
2 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
MAKING
3 In a bowl, put the diced granny smith apples and sprinkle with cinnamon an nutmeg.
4 Add the cheese and bacon bits to the apples and mix well.
5 Add a day old cubed bread and pecan pieces to the mixture.
6 Grate the Parmesan cheese in and mix well.
7 Stuff the filling in the prepared pumpkin.
8 Pour the milk on top and press lightly using a spoon.
9 Cover with the pumpkin half as shown in the video.
10 Cover the stem with foil to avoid burning.
11 Place in the oven and bake for one hour.
12 Cover the pumpkin with foil during the last 30 minutes.
13 Remove from the oven and top with Parmesan cheese and cinnamon.
14 Bake or broil until the cheese melts.
15 Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
SERVING
16 Slice and serve.
