Baked Potato Recipe
Ingredients
4 Idaho or russet potatoes, scrubbed and dried
2 teaspoons butter or olive oil
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
2. Prick the potatoes all over with the tines of a fork.
3. Rub the butter or olive oil on the skin to make it slighdy crisp.
4.Place on a rack in the oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the inside of the potato feels soft when pricked with a fork. Serve immediately.
MICROWAVE-BAKED
1. Repeat step 2 from above.
2. Place potatoes in a circular arrangement, 1 inch apart, on a paper towel on the floor of a microwave oven. Cook on high for 12-16 minutes (4-6 minutes per potato).
2. Prick the potatoes all over with the tines of a fork.
