Baked Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| Rib or loin pork chops - 6 , 1" thick | ||
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion soup mix package | 1 , dehydrated | |
| Boiling water | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery leaves or parsley | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
MAKING
2 In a hot skillet, brown the chops lightly.
3 Transfer to a baking pan.
4 Pour fat from the skillet, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the pan.
5 Addin flour and dehydrated onion soup mix.
6 Blend in water.
7 Pour the mixture over chops.
8 Cover with a foil.
9 Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.
10 Uncover and bake for another 30 or 40 minutes, or until tender.
11 Meanwhile, prepare the gravy by blending sour cream into the liquid in the pan and heat.
12 Remove the chops from the oven.
13 Place the chops on a serving plate.
SERVING
14 Garnish with celery leaves and serve along with the gravy.
