Healthy Baked Plantain Chips With Garlic Sauce Recipe Video

Plantain chips are enjoyed throughout the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Traditionally, the chips are deep fried. But you know me… I DEEP FRY NOTHING ! You can still achieve the same chip crispiness by baking them with just a little oil spray. You can either slice them in a mandolin lengthwise or cross cut, and achieve the same results. I think lengthwise just looks fancier and makes for a better presentation. I like to serve mine with garlic sauce made with Naranja Agria (better orange).
