Baked Orange Roughy Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 (4-ounce) Orange roughy fillets | ||
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ginger root | 1 Teaspoon, minced | |
| Lemon juice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 Teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce | ||
| Crushed red pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Sesame seeds | 2 Tablespoon, toasted | |
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Place fillets in a shallow baking dish.
Combine water and next 5 ingredients in container of an electric blender; cover and process until smooth.
Pour over fillets.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours.
Remove fillets from marinade; discard marinade.
Coat both sides of each fillet with sesame seeds.
Place fillets on rack of a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.
Broil 3 1/2 inches from heat (with electric oven door partially opened) 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Sprinkle with paprika; garnish with lemon, if desired.
