Baked Onions With Creamed Fresh Peas Recipe

Directions
Drop onions into boiling salted water to cover; cook until soft.
Cool; remove centers by pushing through one end, leaving shell of 3 to 4 layers of onion.
Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour.
Add milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Cook over low heat until sauce thickens and is smooth.
Add cheese, salt, pepper, paprika, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce; heat until cheese melts.
Hull peas.
Cook, covered, in boiling salted water for 8 to 12 minutes.
Drain; fold into cheese sauce.
Place onions in baking dish; fill cavities with cheese mixture.
Cover dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
