Baked Mushrooms In Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| 12 drops onion juice | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (For each dozen large fresh mushrooms:) | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon (For each dozen large fresh mushrooms:) | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon (For each dozen large fresh mushrooms:) | |
| Light cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (For each dozen large fresh mushrooms:) | |
| Toast, or hamburger patties | ||
Directions
Wipe mushrooms with damp cloth; remove stems, reserving for soup or sauce.
Put 1 drop of onion juice in each cap; arrange mushrooms, cap side down, in glass baking dish.
Add seasonings.
Dot with butter; pour cream over.
Cover and cook in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 15 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender.
Serve on buttered toast or over broiled hamburger.
