Baked Ln Beef burger Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups Pillsbury's Best All Purpose Flour | ||
| Baking powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon sage, if desired | ||
| 1/4 teaspoon marjoram, if desired | ||
| Water | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cooking oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato sauce | 8 Ounce | |
| Milk Celery seed, if desired | ||
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound (Filling) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon (Filling) | |
| 1/2 cup soda cracker crumbs | ||
| Instant minced onion | 2 Tablespoon (Filling) | |
| Egg | 1 (Filling) | |
Directions
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sage and marjoram in mixing bowl.
Combine water, cooking oil and 1/3 cup tomato sauce.
Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring until dough clings together.
Knead lightly on floured surface 8 times.
Roll out to a 15x8-inch rectangle.
Spread Filling on dough to within 1/2-inch of 8-inch ends.
Roll as for jelly roll starting with 8-inch end.
Seal.
Place seam-side down in greased 9x5-inch loaf pan or cookie sheet.
With scissors or sharp knife make 8 slashes down 1/3 through loaf.
Brush with milk; sprinkle with celery seed.
Bake at 375° for 55 to 60 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Turn out of pan onto serving platter.
