Baked Indian Pudding Recipe

Eating just one is not possible for any one is my claim for this recipe of Baked Indian Pudding. The Indian Baked Indian Pudding has an unique characteristic of addicting you to it on the first bite. Treat your friends to this Baked Indian Pudding and let them know its taste.

Ingredients

 
1 cup yellow cornmeal
 
1/2 cup dark molasses
 
1/4 cup granulated sugar
 
1/4 cup butter
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
 
2 eggs, beaten
 
1 1/2 quarts hot milk
 
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Directions

Mix all ingredients thoroughly with half the hot milk.
Spoon into a buttered 2-quart ceramic casserole and bake in a 450° F.oven until mixture boils (about 30 minutes).
Stir in remaining milk.
Reduce heat to 300° F.and bake for 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
