Delicious Baked Ham Slice Recipe

Ingredients
| Center cut of ready-to-serve ham sliced 1 1/2 inches thick | ||
| Light brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |

| Few drops vinegar | ||
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |

Directions
1.
Combine sugar, flour, mustard, and pepper, and spread half on the slice of ham.
Sprinkle with vinegar and let stand 30 minutes.
Place ham slice, treated side down, in a buttered shallow casserole, and spread the other side with the rest of the sugar mixture and a few drops of vinegar.

Bake the ham slice in a hot oven, 425°, 15 minutes.

Pour in the water, reduce heat to 375°, and bake 1 hour.

When the ham is done, remove it to a warmed platter, add a cup or so of milk to the sauce in the pan, and stir until smooth over low heat.
