Baked Halibut With Salmon Gutter Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter-4 ounces (1 stick) -softened | ||
| Smoked salmon-6 tablespoons -finely chopped | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Onion-1 teaspoon-grated | ||
| Dill-1/2 teaspoon-dried | ||
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Halibut fillets-4 -about 1/2-pound each | ||
| Olive oil | ||
| Parsley -Chopped | ||
| Lemon-wedges | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Season the plank
2. Preheat the plank to 350 degrees
3. In a large bowl, prepare the salmon butter by creaming together the butter, smoked salmon, lemon juice, grated onion, dill and pepper.
4. Mix together to form a uniform paste and set aside to refrigerate for one hour
MAKING
5. Place the fillets in the oval of the preheated plank
6. Lightly brush over with olive oil
7. Season with salt and pepper
8. Bake for 30 minutes
SERVING
9. Serve with the salmon butter, garnished with lemon wedges, parsley and chopped chives.
