Baked Halibut Creole Recipe

Ingredients
2 pounds halibut steaks
2/3 cup thinly sliced onion
1 1/2 cups chopped fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup chopped, peeled tomato
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3 tablespoons chopped pimiento
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dill weed
Freshly ground pepper
Directions
Wipe fish with paper towel and cut into serving-size portions.
Arrange onion slices in bottom of buttered shallow casserole and place fish steaks on onion slices.
Mix mushrooms with tomatoes, green pepper, parsley and pimiento and spread over fish.
Combine wine with remaining ingredients and pour over casserole.
Bake in a 350° F.oven for 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
