Baked Halibut Creole Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds halibut steaks | ||
| Onion | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| Mushrooms | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Tomato | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Parsley | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Pimiento | 3 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Dry white wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dill weed | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
Wipe fish with paper towel and cut into serving-size portions.
Arrange onion slices in bottom of buttered shallow casserole and place fish steaks on onion slices.
Mix mushrooms with tomatoes, green pepper, parsley and pimiento and spread over fish.
Combine wine with remaining ingredients and pour over casserole.
Bake in a 350° F.oven for 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
