Baked Halibut Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 slice halibut, about 2 inches thick | ||
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Canned tomatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 medium-size onion | ||
| Heavy cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Pat the halibut dry on paper towels.
Remove the skin.
Put the fish in a buttered baking dish and sprinkle it with salt and pepper.
Brush the remaining butter over the fish.
Add the tomatoes crushed with sugar.
Cover with thinly sliced onion.
Bake the fish for 20 minutes at 400°F, then pour the cream over it and bake it for 10 minutes more.
Remove the skin.
