Ingredients

 Guavas3
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Pinch
 Lemon juice2 Tablespoon
 Butter1 Tablespoon
 Water2 Tablespoon

Directions

Wash guavas, peel and cut in half.
Remove seedy pulp.
Puree this pulp to remove seeds.
Add sugar, salt and lemon juice to the pulp.
Mix and fill cavities of each half.
Dot with butter.
Arrange in baking dish, add water, cover, and bake in a moderate oven (350° F.) for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.
Cool and serve.
