Baked Fillets Spanish Style Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 sliced medium onion | ||
| 3 tablesp. fat or salad oil | ||
| 2 tablesp. flour | ||
| 1 1/4 c. canned tomato juice | ||
| 1/2 seeded green pepper, minced | ||
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Speck pepper | ||
| Whole clove | 1 | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Fish fillets | 2 Pound | |
Directions
Saute onion in the fat until tender; stir in flour.
Add all remaining ingredients but fish and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove bay leaf and clove.
Arrange fish fillets in a shallow baking dish and cover with sauce.
Bake uncovered in a moderate oven of 350°F for 30 min or until the fish flakes readily.
