FOR 8- OR 9-INCH PIE SHELL:
2 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
1 3 1/2-ounce can flaked or 1 4-ounce can shredded coconut
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Onto bottom and side of pie plate, evenly spread butter or margarine. Pat coconut into butter.
2. Bake 15 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire rack. Fill as recipe directs or with chilled pie filling.
