Baked Chicken with Potato Flakes Recipe

Ingredients

 
2/3 cup evaporated milk (from a tall can)
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs
 
1/4 teaspoon pepper
 
1 envelope instant mashed potato flakes
 
2 broiler-fryers cut up
 
Quick Cream Gravy

Directions

1. Pour evaporated milk into a pie plate; stir in salt, Italian herbs and pepper. Empty mashed potato flakes into a second pie plate.
2. Dip chicken pieces into evaporated milk mixture, then into potato flakes to coat well. Place in single layer on ungreased cooky sheet.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 1/2 hours, or until tender and golden brown.
