Baked Chicken Mornay Recipe
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
1/4 cup floor seasoned with
1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
Mornay Sance
Directions
1. Dust chicken breasts with seasoned flour.
2. Place in small, shallow baking dish, skin side down; pour melted butter or margarine over and around chicken.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 30 minutes; turn chicken breasts; bake 25 to 30 minutes longer, basting 2 or 3 times during baking, until chicken is golden-brown and tender when pierced with a fork.
4. Place on heated serving platter; serve with Mornay Sauce.
