Ingredients

 Cooking oil3 Tablespoon
 6 medium onions, cut into 1/4-inch slices
 All purpose flour2 Tablespoon
 2 frying chickens (about 3 1/2 pounds each), cut up
 Dried prunes1 1/2 Pound
 Tomato sauce2 Can (10oz)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Put oil in bottom of large deep casserole.
Add onions and sprinkle with flour.
Add half of chicken pieces and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Add half of prunes.
Repeat layers of chicken, seasonings, and prunes.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 2 hours.
