Baked Chicken and Prunes Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooking oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 6 medium onions, cut into 1/4-inch slices | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 frying chickens (about 3 1/2 pounds each), cut up | ||
| Dried prunes | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Tomato sauce | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Put oil in bottom of large deep casserole.
Add onions and sprinkle with flour.
Add half of chicken pieces and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Add half of prunes.
Repeat layers of chicken, seasonings, and prunes.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 2 hours.
