Baked Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| Haricot beans 30 gm. | ||
| Tomatoes | 450 Gram (For 4) | |
| Molasses | 10 Gram (For 4) | |
| Bacon | 15 Gram (For 4) | |
| Vinegar | 15 Milliliter (For 4) | |
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
| Pepper | 1 (For 4) | |
Directions
1. Wash and soak beans overnight.
2. Boil till tender in the same liquid.
3. Drain (use liquor for stock).
4. Blanch tomatoes and make a puree.
5. Mix together chopped bacon, molasses, salt and pepper and tomato puree. Add vinegar.
6. Pour into pyrex or aluminium pie dishes and bake covered in a moderate oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
