Baked Bean Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Salad oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| 2 28-ounce cans New England-style beans | ||
| Deviled ham | 1 4 1/4 Ounce | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes | 4 , peeled | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
About 1 hour and 15 minutes before serving: Preheat oven to 400°F.
In large skillet in hot oil, saute onions until tender.
In large bowl, combine beans, ham, mustard; arrange half in 3-quart casserole.
Place half of onions and tomatoes over beans; sprinkle with half of salt and sugar.
Repeat layers.
Cover; bake 45 minutes; uncover; bake 10 minutes longer.
