Baked Bananas Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| Orange juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rum | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 6 large firm bananas | ||
| Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream | ||
Directions
Combine butter or margarine, orange juice, brown sugar, rum and lemon juice; mix well.
Cut bananas in half crosswise and lengthwise.
Arrange in shallow baking dish.
Spoon sauce over bananas.
Center on cooking grill; cover kettle and bake about 15 minutes or just until tender.
Baste with sauce 2 or 3 times during baking.
Serve hot topped with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
