Baked Applesauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 large cooking apples, peeled and cored | ||
| 2 tablespoons artificially sweetened orange marmalade | ||
| Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In 3-quart casserole, place apples; dot with marmalade; then pour orange juice over apples.
Cover and bake 1 hour or until apples are soft.
Stir until apples are chunky.
To cook on range: Prepare ingredients as but place in 5-quart Dutch oven.
Over high heat, cook to boiling.
Reduce heat to low; cover, simmer 25 minutes until apples are tender.
Stir until apples are chunky.(Exchanges per 1/2-cup serving: 1 fruit)
