Baked Apples With Cheese Topping Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples | 4 Small, cored | |
| 1/4 cup snipped pitted whole dates or raisins | ||
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Neufchatel cheese | 2 Ounce | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Skim milk | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg or ground cinnamon | ||
Directions
Cut off a strip of peel from the top of each apple.
Arrange apples in a 9 inch pie plate.
Fill apples with dates or raisins.
Add water to pie plate.
Bake, covered, in a 350° oven for 40 minutes or till apples are tender.
Cool slightly.
Meanwhile, for topping, stir together cheese and vanilla.
Stir in enough skim milk to make of desired consistency.
