Baked Apple Tapioca Pudding With Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 cups sliced tart apples | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Quick-cooking tapioca | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Firmly packed light brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cream | ||
Directions
Arrange apples in greased casserole (1 1/2 quart).
Dot with the butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Mix remaining ingredients except cream in saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
Pour over apples.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for 25 minutes, or until apples are tender.
Remove from oven and stir.
Serve warm with cream.
