Bagheri Mirchi Recipe
Ingredients
| Green chillies | 1/4 Kilogram | |
| Oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup thick tamarind water | ||
| Curry leaves | 10 | |
| Poppy seeds | 1 Tablespoon (Roast and Grind :) | |
| Sesame seeds | 1 Tablespoon (Roast and Grind :) | |
| Coconut | 1/4 (Roast and Grind :) | |
| 1 tsp. each ground garlic and ginger | ||
| Salt | To Taste (Roast and Grind :) | |
| Blanched almonds | 15 (Roast and Grind :) | |
| Coriander seeds | 1 Tablespoon (Roast and Grind :) | |
| 1 tsp. cummin seeds | ||
Directions
Slit chillies in centre.
Heat oil, fry curry leaves for a second, add ground masala, salt, ginger and garlic, fry well.
Add in tamarind water, chillies and 1/2 cup hot water.
Cover and simmer for 10 mins.
Serve with chapatis.
